O’Shea secured a contract of £26m to design and construct a 26,696m2 Basement and Ground Floor to a shell only standard. The works comprised excavating to formation level and removal by barge of 163,520 m3 of spoil, temporary works, piling works and RC concrete works to form the basement up to and including ground floor total concrete within the basement was 25,344 m3. Above podium the overall development comprised 13 apartment blocks ranging from 4 to 13 storeys we were also successful in securing the Superstructure RC frame contract as well.
