Wickside is a canal-side project on the edge of London's Olympic Park, which O'Shea has held a strategic investment in since 2012, in partnership with Galliard Homes. At over 7 acres it is the largest single ownership site in Fish Island. Wickside seeks to create a high quality mixed use quarter which will retain existing heritage assets to ensure the site’s industrial history is reflected strongly in the scheme and that the character of the newly established local conservation area is enhanced. The creation of a new canal side linear park and significant areas of other new public realm, including new streets, puts placemaking at the heart of the new quarter.

Wickside will provide around 500 homes, from apartments and penthouses to garden studios and terraced houses. Hundreds of jobs will be created from its other uses, such as an art gallery, shops, restaurants, a foundry, creative studios and a brewery. O’Shea have worked alongside BUJ Arichtects and Ash Sakula to deliver the planning consent for Wickside, which is expected to have full consent in Q2 2018.
